OOC Information PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: The Big Sister is a white female human who is sixteen years of age. Mutation through extensive exposure to ADAM has left her with a very abnormal appearance: though she has the mass of a teenager, she is almost seven feet in height, causing her to have a stretched, spidery figure. She also has never seen sunlight before coming through the Ingress and thus has very pale, greyish skin. Her eyes are completely covered by a slightly reflective yellow film. MEDICAL: The Big Sister possesses a rapid healing factor that can regenerate damaged tissue and even fuse broken bones (though this can be detrimental if the bones aren’t aligned in the right way when the fusing takes place). However, this can only occur when she has consumed a sufficient amount of ADAM. The Big Sister also lacks the ability to speak coherently, instead making a strange whistling/bubbling noise when she attempts to talk. This is likely due to the Big Sisters receiving the same mutilation to their vocal chords that the Big Daddies receive when they are selected to be “Protectors.” ABILITIES: Due to her childhood exposure to massive levels of ADAM, the Big Sister has a number of superhuman powers, which are as follows: 1) Superhuman agility and strength: The Big Sister can run very fast, make massive leaps without harming herself, and is strong enough to punch a needle through glass thick enough to keep the ocean at bay. 2) Regeneration: See MEDICAL. 3) Plasmid use: On top of powers of regeneration, ADAM also gives the Big Sister access to her plasmid abilities. These abilities include: throwing fireballs, powerful telekinesis, and limited teleportation. SPECIAL ITEMS: The Big Sister possesses a suit of rusted metal and leather armor grafted onto a twill diving suit. This armor set includes a diving helmet, the face-plate of which glows different colors based on her mood and intentions. When she is hostile, and/or planning to attack, her face-plate glows red. If she is calm or apathetic, it glows yellow. If she feels friendly or protective towards someone, it glows green. Her armor also includes two gauntlets mounted with very large needles. These needles are connected intravenously to her bloodstream, allowing her not only to stab opponents, but also to draw ADAM directly out of their veins and into hers. Finally, she has a large, cage-like basket which is mounted to the back of her armor, which allows her to transport Little Sisters in relative safety. There are many ribbons tied to the basket, left there by its previous occupants. IC TRIGGERS: Sisters are conditioned to view any words related to motherhood as unnatural and taboo. Though they won’t cause the Big Sister to react aggressively, they will likely get a repulsed reaction from her. She will attempt to maim or kill anyone behaving aggressively towards a young girl in her line of sight. QUIRKS: Being quite young despite initial appearances, the Big Sister retains some more childlike attributes and traits from her time as a Little Sister, such as a penchant for drawing simple pictures and a tendency towards tantrums when she doesn’t get her way. Permissions PSYCHIC: Using psychic powers to know things about Big Sister’s past or what she’s thinking is fine. If those psychic powers could potentially show her future, ask me first. AFFECTION: Shipping is okay if the other character in question is also a teenager and even in that case, I’d prefer to keep things pretty tame. MAGIC: Minor effects are fine, but ask me first if magic would have long-lasting repercussions on the Big Sister’s health/appearance/abilities. PHYSICAL: Non-lethal attacks are fine, though they may be met with lethal retaliation since Big Sis does not understand sparring lol. Once again, anything with long-lasting repercussions should be discussed first. CONTENT WARNINGS: Violence, child abuse, infanticide, drug use, needles, and body horror are all things that could potentially come up in threads with the Big Sister. I will do my best to tag for these in the subject lines of relevant posts. Please let me know if you’d like me to avoid any of these topics altogether in our thread(s). OOC TRIGGERS: No graphic torture please. 4TH WALL: I’d prefer to avoid fourth-walling if at all possible!
